The new owners have done a great job with a new facelift to the gym, new equipment, and great programming. I’m lifting more weight than I ever have, over 120# increase in deadlifts, 100# increase in squats, and consistently hit PRs for other Olympic lifts.
I joined CFS on the 6 Week Challenge in December 2018 to lose weight and get in better shape. I started off with 3-4 days a week, but quickly jumped up to 5-6 days a week! The meal plan, the workouts, the coaches, and every member in the gym are fantastic! They break down every movement and make sure you are comfortable before jumping into a workout. The other members working out with you consistently encourage you to keep working.
I was less than a pound away from hitting my 20 lb goal after six weeks, and one of those weeks I slipped up during a Christmas vacation. I feel better, I look better, and I am more confident working out now than I have been in years. I am so glad I joined Crossfit Slake!”

“Coaching is great. I used to lift weights but stopped years ago when I started having lower back issues. I’ve been doing a lot of endurance running the past several years and wanted to get some strength training back in my routine.
