I'm passionate about the barbell - it's my strength and my challenge! According to Strength Level, I lift more than 87% of women my age. I can power clean and jerk 110% of my body weight and deadlift 1.83 times my weight (2x is within reach!). My Grace time is around 2:12, and I'm especially proud of my progress in gymnastics: I can now string together over 60 double-unders, about 20 toes-to-bars,many handstand push-ups, a few strict pull-ups, and an occasional bar-muscle-up or two. Every lift and every rep shows me how far I've come, and I'm excited to keep pushing my limits and redefining what's possible!

Qualifications

Since 2006, I've been mastering the RN life, and for nearly three years, I've been coaching CrossFit blending my love for health and fitness to inspire others. Now, I'm diving into the world of nutrition, excited to level up my skills so I can help athletes fuel for peak performance. It's all about finding that sweet spot where health, strength, and smart fueling come together- I love bringing that type of knowledge to my athletes!

About Coach

I'm a born-and-raised Texan, originally from Dallas and raised in Garland, now rocking my 40s as a fitness-loving, champagne-brunching mom of teenagers. I'm a Registered Nurse working as an Operations Manager in the biopharma world, where I lead teams of case managers and work with pharmaceutical companies to make sure patients get the support they need with biologics. I also get to do some amazing things outside of work - like leading baptism and baby dedication ceremonies with my team at One Community Church - Prosper and heading out of the country as often as I can on mission trips to experience new cultures. When I'm not doing all of that, you'll find me listening to a podcast at Starbucks or with my husband or friends on a patio with a pile of chips and queso!

Turning Point

I grew up in a super active family - my dad was a marathon runner, my mom taught aerobics classes, and I jumped in with high school sports and college intramurals. After baby number two, I tried CrossFit to get my strength back, hitting my weight loss goal in three months (and yes, I quit right after!). But nine years ago, I came back to CrossFit this time for my health - to tackle my blood pressure - and I haven't looked back since. Now, it's my daily ritual for staying strong, grounded, and feeling my best. CrossFit isn't just a workout, it's my secret sauce for a healthier, more resilient, and yes - sexier - life!

Motivation & Passion

I'm here to help my athletes see CrossFit as the ultimate lifestyle hack! Competing every day isn't just about getting stronger, it's about staying stress-free, disease-proof, and - let's be honest - keeping that sexy edge. Plus, it's way more fun when you're doing it alongside friends with the same long-term goals! I want my athletes to realize that getting older is no reason to slow down. With the right mindset and habits, you'll feel (and look) better than ever.
